We haven’t talked about Borderlands much on World of Meh.  To be perfectly honest, I can’t recall it ever being mentioned at all.  This is not because we didn’t play the game, or because we played the game and simply did not like it.  On the contrary, we quite enjoyed the game.  Our lazy asses just never wrote anything about it.  That changes now!

There has been speculation over the last week or two about a potential upcoming DLC for Borderlands that would focus on the CL4P-TPs (or Claptraps).  At the end of Borderlands, a hint is given that the game’s Claptrap is not all that he seems to be, and this DLC aims to address that in a spectacularly over the top fashion.

Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution places the Vault Hunters between the Hyperion Corporation, who thus far have made admirable efforts towards your destruction in past DLCs,  and the Claptrap Revolution, led by the “dastardly kung-fu expert” Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin.  There is no confirmation on this, but previous speculation has you fighting not only Claptraps, but also other familiar enemies that have been turned into Claptrap hybrids.  Any way you look at it, we’re in for a good time.

Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution hits Xbox Live Marketplace, Playstation Network, and PC this September for 800 MSP / $10.
