In 2006, Okami captivated gamers and introduced us to a unique world. Now, a sequel is on the way for the Nintendo DS and we’ve got a first look for you.

It’s been four years since the first game was released and it seems about time we had another. Capcom has released some screenshots for all to enjoy. In them, you get a sneak peek at the new character Kagu, who is a child actor, that helps Chibi through this new adventure. You also get to see some of the new brush techniques Inferno and Vine.

The game looks interesting and as a fan of the first, I will be picking up this game when it is finally released. Unfortunately, there isn’t a release date for North America yet but it has been released in Japan so we can expect it sometime soon.
